To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what the average hourly cost of (a) local authority-funded and (b) self-funded home care was in each of the last 13 years.

The Department does not hold data for the average annual, weekly or hourly cost of local authority or self-funded domiciliary care, residential or residential with nursing care. NHS Digital publishes the Adult Social Care Activity and Finance Report, England, starting from 2017 and is available via the following link:
