Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether he plans to maintain current levels of funding for Overseas Development Assistance to Afghanistan.

Since April 2021 the UK has distributed £514 million in aid to Afghanistan. A decision on the 23/24 allocation has not yet been made. The UK remains committed to supporting the people of Afghanistan. UK aid is continuing to provide vital life-saving assistance to the most vulnerable.
