Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, when the Chiltern mainline contract is due for renewal.
This question was answered on 2nd February 2023
The core term of the Chiltern National Rail Contract ends on 31 March 2025. The Secretary of State can call an extension of the National Rail Contract for any period up to 31 December 2027.
