Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of introducing legislative proposals to enable Ukrainian citizens who arrived in the UK on a Homes for Ukraine or Ukraine Family Scheme visa to vote in (a) general and (b) local elections in England.

The Representation of People Act 1983 and subsequent legislation set out which non-UK nationals' resident in the UK can participate in our Parliamentary and Local elections.
