Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether GP surgeries and pharmacists will be able to administer covid-19 tests after March 2022.
From 1 April 2022, free access to asymptomatic and symptomatic tests for the public in England will end. Free tests will no longer be distributed by pharmacies, but some may choose to sell tests. Arrangements for testing in the National Health Service, including general practitioner surgeries, will be announced shortly.
