Question to the Department for Exiting the European Union :

To ask the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, what his Department's implementation plan is for banning the box on job applications.

The Department for Exiting the European Union was set up in June 2016 based on Cabinet Office principles and guidelines and operates a recruitment process in line with the Ban the Box principles. Recruitment into the department from the external market commenced in November 2016, with campaigns run by Civil Service Resourcing, and all roles have been advertised in line with the Ban the Box initiative.
