Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps he is taking to ensure that train operating companies comply with consumer data legislation.
This question was answered on 19th April 2018
The Department is currently updating its Franchise Agreement to reflect the forthcoming General Data Protection Regulations. This will ensure that all Train Operating Companies meet their legal obligations under the new consumer data regime.
