Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what recent assessment his Department has made of progress towards publishing the National Implementation Plan to support the delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan.
This question was answered on 14th March 2022
The development of the National Implementation Plan was delayed due to the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The delivery of commitments within the NHS Long Term Plan has been monitored. The Department and NHS England plan to publish an update to the NHS Long Term Plan later this year to take account of the impact of the pandemic. Further detail on implementation will follow.
