Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, how much funding his Department will provide to the Conflict, Security and Stability Fund in 2023.
The Conflict, Stability and Security Fund is a cross-government mechanism, overseen by the Cabinet Office. It contributes to the delivery of National Security Council (NSC) priorities, as set out in the Integrated Review 2021. The Spending Review 2021, agreed by the Treasury, allocated the Fund a total settlement of £2.65 billion over three years. The agile nature of the Fund will ensure that it continues to respond to NSC priorities stemming from the anticipated refresh of the Integrated Review this year.
