Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether an applicant to the Ukraine family scheme who does not have a visa will be permitted travel to the United Kingdom without incurring carrier liability fees.

Those eligible for the Ukraine family scheme should ensure they obtain the correct permission to come to the UK. Those eligible for the scheme who hold a valid Ukrainian Passport no longer need to go to a Visa Application Centre and can apply online, they will be able to give their biometrics once they have arrived in the UK.

Carriers’ liability legislation will apply as normal and guidance for carriers on discharging their obligations will be updated as necessary.
