DCMS is able to share information with third parties including government departments, public bodies, agencies, devolved nations or local authorities using statutory information gateways. DCMS does not hold a central list of all information sharing gateways available to it.

Each information gateway will have its own management and governance requirements depending on the type of information being shared, and will have to comply with the Data Protection Legislation. In addition, any data sharing will be managed in accordance with the department's data and information policies and standards and our compliance and commitment to protecting citizens' data.
