Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what representations he has received on extending the initial term of the Work Commitment for Petroleum Exploration and Development Licence 189.
This question was answered on 9th May 2018
The responsibility for onshore oil and gas licensing, including responsibility for extending a PEDL was transferred to the independent Oil and Gas Authority in 2016. As such the OGA is responsible for handling any representations regarding licences.
