Our assessment is that the Global Food Security Summit will focus international attention on the global food security and nutrition crisis and help boost efforts to achieve Zero Hunger and end malnutrition (Sustainable Development Goal 2). It will galvanise support for lasting solutions that prevent famine, wider food insecurity and malnutrition. The Summit will focus on new approaches to ending preventable deaths of children from acute malnutrition.
