Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate he has made of the amount of NHS funds lost to fraud in each of the last five years.

The NHS Counter Fraud Authority publishes an annual Strategic Intelligence Assessment which estimates fraud losses in the National Health Service in England. The following table shows the estimated losses in each of the last five years for which information is available.
