Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what the criteria are for recruitment of Border Force personnel; and whether those criteria are applied consistently throughout the UK.

The criteria set for Border Force roles in recruitment campaigns will reflect the nature of the post being recruited. Where educational qualifications are a requirement we will try to offer the opportunity for people to demonstrate this using previous experience where possible.
