General Practitioners: Training

Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many and what proportion of General Practitioners have received training in mental health.
This question was answered on 9th May 2018
All general practitioners receive mental health training as part of their postgraduate general practice training, based on curricula set by the Royal College of General Practitioners, to standards set by the General Medical Council.
