The Civil Service’s policy since February 2015 has been not to use confidentiality agreements in settlement agreements on termination of employment. The Department’s approach is to not use non-disclosure agreements for settlement agreements and instead be open and transparent with agreement outcomes.

Based on the information available for the Department of Transport, including executive agencies, the number of non-disclosure agreements used are:

2013

2014

2015

2016

2017

2018
