Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what steps he is taking to ensure the forthcoming G7 summit will focus on the delivery of the roll out of the covid-19 vaccine to developing countries.

The UK Government is committed to rapid, equitable access to safe and effective vaccines through multilateral collaboration. This Government has already committed £548 million to the COVAX Advance Market Commitment, which is the international initiative to support global equitable access to vaccines. We will use our G7 Presidency to build on this, committing to work together to lead the global fight against, and recovery from coronavirus, while strengthening our resilience against future pandemics.
