Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment his Department has made of the accuracy rate of real-time automated facial recognition technology on public CCTV cameras used by (a) Metropolitan Police and (b) South Wales Police.

A decision to deploy a facial recognition system is an operational one for the police.
