Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, pursuant to the Answer of 27 March to Question 134036 on post-natal depression, in which areas will the four new eight-bed mother and baby units be located.

NHS England has concluded an open procurement process to establish new mother and baby units in four areas where there is currently no provision. These areas are the South West (Exeter), the East of England (Norwich), the North West (Chorley) and the South East Coast (Dartford).
