Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what the average time to process and make a decision on a visa application for a highly skilled professional has been in the last three months for which information is available.

Published data on entry clearance visa processing times for skilled work (Tier 2), including the percentage of visas processed within published service standards by category, is published online at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/international-operations-transparency-data-february-2018 The large majority of cases are straightforward and are dealt with within Service standards.
