Railways: Warrington

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if he will make an assessment of the potential effect on economic growth in Warrington of changes to the timetables for Trans-Pennine services which reduce the number of trains stopping at Warrington stations.

Northern will operate the same level of services as TPE previously operated at Warrington. We expect that the capacity will be similar or better for most journeys.
