Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many training places for student midwives were commissioned in each of the last two years for which figures are available.

The following table provides the number of planned midwifery training places for the period 2014-15 to 2015-16 as per the Health Education England workforce plans.
