The Bank of England publish information about UK lending in its monthly Money and Credit statistical release. As of March 2018, the Bank of England estimates that outstanding lending to UK businesses by monetary financial institutions, which includes banks, was £359.3bn and outstanding lending to households was £1,376bn.
