Consultants: Retirement

Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what proportion of consultants currently working in hospitals in (a) Barnsley, (b) South Yorkshire and (c) nationally are expected to reach the planned average age of retirement over the next decade.
NHS Digital publishes information on workforce statistics and the following table shows the full time equivalent figures for consultants working in England and South Yorkshire that are over the age of 55.
