Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 14 May 2018 to Question 142442 on Deportation, what information his Department holds on the (a) number of deportation orders that have been in force for more than five years and (b) average length of time taken before a deportation order is executed.

Providing the information requested would require a manual check of individual records which could only be done at disproportionate cost.

The Home Office does however routinely publish quarterly statistics on the average length of time taken for a foreign national offender to be deported from the UK. This information can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/immigration-enforcement-data-february-2018
