Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what recent steps have been taken to improve passenger safety on trains for people with disabilities.

The Government will publish an Inclusive Transport Strategy later this year.

We expect all train operating companies to ensure the safe transport of all passengers, including those with disabilities, and meet their legal duties.
