Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many contractors have been employed by his Department for (a) up to one year, (b) between one and five years, (c) between five and 10 years and (d) over 10 years.

As at the 31st March 2018 the Home Department and it’s Agencies and NDPBs had engaged the following number of contingent labour contractors for;

(a) up to one year, - 125

(b) between one and five years, - 185, six contractors have a tenure of greater than three years, no contractors have a tenure of greater than four years.

(c) between five and 10 years - None

and (d) over 10 years – None
