Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 15 May 2018 to Question 142892 on Prince Harry: Marriage, whether since that Answer (a) Thames Valley Police or (b) the Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner submitted an application to his Department for Special Grant funding for additional costs associated with policing the royal wedding.

We have not received any application for funding in respect of the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Officials are in regular contact with the police force and will provide any assistance necessary should the Police and Crime Commissioner choose to submit an application. As I set out in my response to the Hon Member for Edinburgh East, I will carefully consider any such application.
