Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many social care contracts were returned to local authorities in each of the last five years.
This question was answered on 24th February 2023
Under the Care Act 2014, local authorities have the duty to shape their care markets to meet the needs of their populations. The Department does not hold data on how many contracts were returned to local authorities.
