Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what the eligibility criteria are for HRT prepayment certificates.

Anyone can apply for the Hormone Replacement Therapy Pre-Payment Certificate (HRT PPC). The HRT PPC can only be used for treatments that are included on the HRT medicines list to be published in the Drug Tariff Part XVI. To be listed, the treatment must be licensed for use in the treatment of menopause symptoms in the United Kingdom. The HRT PPC can be used regardless of the purpose for which these medicines are prescribed. The HRT PPC will be available to use from 1 April 2023.
