Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, how much money remains in the Levelling Up Fund within the Department.
This question was answered on 23rd February 2023
The total grant amount allocated to date under the Levelling Up Fund programme is £3.8 billion. No money has been returned to HM Treasury.
As set out publicly, £1.7 billion was allocated under Round 1, of which £1.27 billion was allocated to projects led by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
A further £2.1 billion was allocated under Round 2, announced on the 19 January 2023. Further details will be set out in the usual way.
