To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many applications for phase one clinical trials were assessed by the MHRA in each of the last ten years.

The following table shows the number of applications for phase one clinical trials that have been assessed by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) across the past 10 years.
