Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to recent letters sent from the NHS to individuals deemed to be at higher risk from covid-19, what criteria the NHS used to determine which individuals should receive that advice.

The Department commissioned the Independent Advisory Group to identify a set of patient conditions based on who is at the highest risk of an adverse COVID-19 outcome, particularly hospitalisation and death.
