Road investment in Scotland is a devolved matter and any plans to improve the A75 therefore fall to the Scottish Government. Where there are areas of cross-border interest, UK Ministers remain keen to collaborate with their Scottish counterparts. The Department is contributing to discussions about the proposed Borderlands Growth Deal, which includes an aspiration to improve the A75.
