Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what progress his Department has made on the appointment of the Special Representative for Anti-Muslim Hostility; whether it will be a regulated public appointment, a special adviser or direct ministerial appointment; whether it has been advertised; and whether it will be appointed by open and fair competition.

The Terms of Reference and appointment process for the Special Representative on anti-Muslim hostility will be published in due course.
