Universal Credit: Self-employed

Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, pursuant to the Answer of 22 March 2022 to Question 138303, whether there is statistical evidence available to show (a) how the minimum income floor has enabled claimants to increase their self-employed through developing their self-employment and (b) that the minimum income floor prevents claimants from under-declaring self-employed earnings; and for what the evidential basis is for the minimum income floor to achieve that objective.
