Question to the Department for Business and Trade:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, how many and what proportion of cars produced in the UK were electric vehicles in (a) 2010, (b) 2015, (c) 2019, (d) 2021 and (e) 2022.

This information is not held centrally. However, figures supplied by the Society of Motor Manufacturer and Traders (SMMT) show the proportion of vehicles produced in the UK in recent years that were fully electric or hybrid electric. Please note these figures do not go as far back to 2010 or 2015.
