Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, for what reason medical assessors are required to assess evidence establishing a link between a covid-19 vaccine and the death of an individual when a coroner's verdict has established that a covid-19 vaccination was the cause of that individual's death.
The Government’s obligations in assessing a claim are set out in the Vaccine Damage Payment Act 1979. The Act requires that each claim is assessed using the evolving evidence with complete medical records for the claimant in order to reach a decision.
