Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the contribution of 12 March 2014 by the then Minister for the Cabinet Office and Paymaster General, Official Report, column 307, what discussions the Minister for the Cabinet Office, the Prime Minister, the Home Secretary and the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster have had about the status of metadata under the Wilson Doctrine; whether metadata is protected under the Wilson Doctrine; and if he will make a statement.
