Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how long NHS staff will be entitled to continue parking free of charge at their place of work; and what assessment he has made of the potential merits continuing that policy beyond the end of the covid-19 outbreak.
This question was answered on 21st June 2021
On 25 March 2020, the Government committed to provide free car parking for staff at National Health Service facilities for the duration of the pandemic, and trusts continue to be funded to deliver this commitment. No such assessment has currently been made.
