Any potential decisions to refuse applications for discretionary leave to remain for confirmed victims of modern slavery are currently on hold pending further guidance and consideration of the Court of Appeal judgment in the case of (PK (Ghana) v SSHD) on 13 February 2018.

No data is available on the number of people who might be subject to deportation if their discretionary leave applications are refused once decision making is resumed.
