Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the potential impact of trends in the level of demand for services provided by integrated care boards on (a) elective recovery standards and (b) other long-term preventative health care programmes provided by those services.
This question was answered on 13th March 2023
No specific assessment has been made. However, NHS England has published the Elective Recovery Plan and Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Prevention Recovery plan in 2022 to support the integrated care boards in setting out action across high-impact areas.
