To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what recent discussions she has had with the BBC Board on levels of (a) public and (b) professional trust in the political independence of the current BBC Chair.

Government Ministers meet with members of the BBC Board regularly to discuss a range of issues.
