Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment he has made of the benefits of Integrated Transport Authorities.

No assessment has been made of the benefits of Integrated Transport Authorities. It is for local areas to undertake a review of their governance arrangements to determine the benefits for them of establishing an Integrated Transport Authority, or other governance arrangements such as a Combined Authority.
