Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether any errors were made in the appeal decision on planning permission for the proposed Bradley open-cast coal mine in County Durham.

This question was answered on 27th June 2018

Planning permission for Bradley open cast coal mine was granted on appeal by an independent Planning Inspector on 3 June 2015 following a public inquiry. No legal challenge to the decision was made and no other representations were received during the statutory challenge period pointing to errors in the decision.
