Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, whether he has had discussions with the Turkish Government on the fall in the value of the Turkish lira.

​We have regular discussions with the Turkish government and the Central Bank of Turkey over economic and fiscal issues as part of our normal day to day diplomatic engagement. This includes fluctuations in currency values.
