Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, who the lead Minister in her Department was at the commencement of work that led to the Environmental Improvement Plan 2023.
This question was answered on 9th March 2023
The Environmental Improvement Plan and its five-yearly review are requirements of the Environment Act, which was commenced 9th November 2021. The Secretary of State is responsible for delivery of those commitments within the Act.
