The PM, BEIS Secretary of State and the Foreign Secretary are regularly engaging with a range of European counterparts on energy security. We are working closely with partners across the G7, including Germany, Italy, France and the European Commission, International Energy Agency (IEA), OPEC+ and others to stabilise energy prices. In particular, ministers have been intensively engaging with major OPEC+ and other oil producing countries to press for measures to stabilise oil prices, and with the IEA and our allies on strategic oil reserve releases.
