With over 1 million registered plug-in vehicles in the UK, it is clear that the public recognises the benefits of switching to zero emission vehicles.

In 2021 the Government consulted on measures to improve the consumer experience at public chargepoints and published its response in March 2022. To increase confidence in the charging network, the Government intends to lay legislation in the coming months to improve the accessibility and reliability of the network still further.
